Who needs Africa

Formerly known as Alkebulan, which translates to the garden of Eden or the mother of humanity and quite rightly named because Africa for over 10,000 years has been providing resources to the rest of the world.
In the movie 10,000 Bc, writer  Roland Emmerich told a story of a starving Europe and a quest that brought the white man to Africa where they got corn grains to be planted in Europe for sustenance, fiction though the story was, however, still the part about the foodstuff transfer is not wrong or fictitious because today one can find many crops that are geographically from Africa in Europe, America, and other parts of the world.

It might seem to some people that Africa only provided food when needed, far from it, this blog will point out historical events and times when Africa and Africans have stepped in to fill a vacuum that no other race, nation, or tribe could fill in and the blog follows the philosophy that no matter where you come from as long as you are a black person you are an African.

Leadership
Born in AD 145 in the Libyan city of Leptis Magna in Africa,  Lucius Septimius Severus was named ruler of the Roman Empire in the year AD 193 at a time when the Roman empire was riddled with corruption, assassinations, and a massive loss of loyalty and trust amongst the Roman military, a time in which five men claimed the title of Roman Emperor, a time that saw emperors like Publius Helvius Pertinax reigning for only 86 days and Didius Julianus 66 days both assassinated.

Historically Emperor Severus was popular amongst the Roman people, having brought stability after the vices and corruption of Commodus’s reign it should also be noted that his reform of the Roman military back then is the current structure used in the whole world today as he was credited for the removal of the marriage ban, allowing military men to have wives hence today soldiers are allowed to have families.
He was also credited for the expansion of the Roman empire spanning some 5 million square kilometers, the biggest growth in the history of the Roman empire.
Healthcare and Vaccination.
In these times of Covid-19, a lot of mainstream news and people in western countries look at and even predict that Africans will die in millions because of lack of vaccination.
Born around the late 1600s-1700s Onesimus (Bostonian) whose real name was never known because he was just an African slave, after having been brought to North America as a slave and was given as a gift by a church congregation to Cotton Mather,  although his actual origin remains largely unknown it is believed that Onesimus hales from the western gold coast of Africa (west Africa today), though it was kept a secret at that times in the 1721 outbreak of smallpox, Onesimus introduced Mather to the principle and procedure of inoculation to prevent the disease (known today as vaccination).

A practice that had been used in Africa for thousands of years was introduced and thereby saving lives globally. Today the whole world is speaking about vaccination to save the world, we could also say Africa to save the world.

Warfare

During the American civil war (also known as the war of independence), there was a stall in progress on the battlefield with little or no progress in the war, the American congress formed an all-black regiment dubbed Buffalo Soldiers who were originally members of the 10th Cavalry Regiment.
Top among the features of the Buffalo soldiers was, resilience, strength, and lack of fear, and mostly they possessed a high ability to defeat their foes, as expected the war was won most due to the valent efforts of the Buffalo soldiers.

Again the war between the Allies and the Central powers on June 28, 1914, was fast approaching a stalemate, almost feeling like an over-played football match then the Allied nations decided to force their colonies in Africa to produce African men to tip the balance in the war which it did in the favor of the Allied nations.

On September 1, 1939, another war broke out in Europe, for two years the war was going in the favor of the Nazi´s with European countries falling to the might of the German war machines until December 1941, at the unset of 1942, colonial countries once again imposed the war on their colonies by enlisting African men and in 1944 to March 1945 with the massive influx of Buffalo soldiers from the allies the Siegfried Line which up until then was impenetrable by the Allies was broken thanks again to Africa and Africans.

In recent years, the continent of Africa has been embroiled in a thug of war between those that need Africa and those that Africa needs, what I find ironic is the undue advantage on the side of those that need Africa against those that Africa needs. For example, the American firm Pfizer needed the poor people of Kano Nigeria to test their vaccines which resulted in the death of over 1200 innocent children

and another example is the French use of the dessert of Algeria for a nuclear bomb test whose devastating effects still leave citizens of Reggane with deadly cases of cancer, the blast from the Blue Jerboa created an effect that even went out of Algeria and nuclear fallout from the bomb would be detected as far as Senegal, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, and Sudan.

What does Africa need?

Africa does not need visionaries anymore, Africa does not need good talkers, the era of talking, visions, and foreign dealmakers in Africa are over, Africa needs leadership that considers Africa first, leaders that understand the art of bargaining, leaders that see the true value of what Africa has to offer before making any deals, one very good example is of this type of leader is Paul Kagame the president of Rwanda, a man who saw a country with great division, a country where people thought cannot grow, a country where disunity leads to genocide, a country which the rest of the world thought could not survive as one and proved the world wrong by showing the world that a for a true African nothing is impossible.

Africa does not need leaders that aspire to be or perform like Paul Kagame, no, any leader who emulates Kagame is more or less the same as the nonsense leadership that Africa has had in the past century, the leadership that Africa needs is leadership that sees the efforts of Paul Kagame as a foundation upon which more should be built upon.
Africa needs Africans that see every African as one, Africa needs Africans who are willing to lay their lives for a fellow African, and Africa needs voluntary ambassadors.

Africa is a religion of its own,  one that cares for everyone but is ripped by those entrusted with caring for the citizens of Africa.
Who needs Africa?
Recent years have seen a struggle between those whose policies have all but destroyed Africa and African values and those whose intentions are still elusive with intentions riddled with secrecy.
These two groups of countries while fighting to control the African continent know that they in person cannot rule over Africa so they devise a tool to do just that which is the implementation of their teachings through various scholarships where they train African future leaders in the art of stealing African money and sending it to them in their respective countries.

At this critical junction in the African chapter, one could wonder after seeing the atrocities committed by Africa´s western trained leaders if Boko is actually or truly Haram in Africa, the reason being that all African leaders trained by western countries are thieves doing the bidding of their colonial masters, this, however, should not be misconstrued as an endorsement of violence carried out by the terrorist Boko haram group but rather as a reflection of the question what does Africa need and obviously due to the failure of western-educated leaders to deliver growth in Africa.

Who needs Africa?

Africa is needed by the 1,376,740,588 people who call it home, people whose lives and livelihood depend on Africa, people whose roots and full ancestral lineage, and most of all, people who have no other place to call home.
